About
About OLEA
What OLEA covers
OLEA is a magazine about olive oil and the table, published by Superwalk Inc.. We cover the parts of olive oil that can be checked — where it grew, which cultivar it came from, how it was milled, what grade it carries — along with the food culture around it: how to read a label, how to store a bottle, what to put it on.
Sections
- Guides — The essentials of olive oil, and the food culture around it.
- Craft — Origins, cultivars, milling, grades — the work behind a bottle.
- Table — Seasons, pairings, recipes — small variations at the table.
How we write
- Olive oil is a food, not a medicine. We do not claim that it prevents, treats or cures anything.
- Composition figures — polyphenols, oleic acid, free acidity — are quoted from laboratory reports as measured, never rounded up.
- Statistics and study results are attributed to their source, with the publishing body and date wherever we can give them.
- OLEA is not a registered news outlet. We publish editor's notes, reviews and guides — not reporting.
Languages
OLEA publishes in Korean and English. The two editions are separate documents rather than a language toggle, so each is written for the reader searching in that language. The Korean edition lives at oleamag.com.
